And now she is getting into everything and looks like this...!
Here is an update on this crazy 14 month old.
- At her 12 month doctor appointment she weighed in at a 'mighty' 18 lbs and measured 28" tall.
- She's really into small, shiny objects and she loves playing with my wedding ring and twirling it around my finger.
- Her favorite food is bananas (based on the fact that she throws them around the least).
- Up until a week ago she had a mighty appetite and could keep up with anything we would eat for dinner. Unfortunately, I think the picky eater stage has now begun...
- She still isn't walking on her own yet, but she can get almost anywhere by crawling, climbing or squeezing.
- She is obsessed with my cell phone. She doesn't do anything on it, because I always have it locked, but she loves carrying it around and trying to talk to Siri.
- She thinks it's funny to pinch people. She'll pinch you and then laugh and grin. Yeah, that's going to have to stop before she goes to nursery.
- She finally cut another tooth! She's had the two-toothed grin forever now and I am excited she's getting more teeth. Let's get them all in so I can start feeding her more food!
- She's starting to snuggle a little bit! She used to hate snuggling and wouldn't stay in one place for more than three seconds. Now she lets me snuggle her for a whole minute! This is very exciting for a snuggle-happy mom.
- She says hi to everyone she sees in the grocery store and, let me tell you, she isn't quite. Good thing she's pretty darn cute so people don't mind. They will stop and talk to her as long as she wants.
It's been fun to stay home with her and watch her grow. She learns something new every day and it's so fun to be a part of everything.
